I have read a book about the murder of emmet till. I have also watched a movie about this. This is also the same movie you will be showing us. It is very sad but it is a big part of the civil rights movement. This can also be linked to the bill of rights.
In our constitution slideshow packet we talked about treason and Mary Suratt. In the book Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly it tells the details of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. On page 103 it talks about Mary Surrat and shows a photo of her. Also, on page 279 it mentions all of the people that were found guilty and sentenced to be hanged. ,
