  6. Hi Ms Digangi,
I cannot find any obesity sites on the blog, what other reliable source could I go to for the images to put on my power point?

  7. Hi Rachel, Saving files is one of the last steps. When we get to that point I will post the screencast. Have you finished steps 2 & 3?

  8. Hi Ms. D! On our RAFTing sheet, you say that we have to watch the Screen Cast “How 2 Save Multimedia Files.” I cannot find that on your blog!

  9. Hi CJ, Click on the “How to Post” tab and watch the screen cast about posting comments and stickies. I look forward to reading your pop culture connections.

  10. I was on youtube when I came across a short clip of a Family Guy episode. It basically deals with “Bill” from our HABBAL lesson (on the Schoolhouse Rock Video we watched in class). It shows a clip of “Bill” sitting on capital hill about to sing his song about how he hopes to become a law someday and how Congress must vote and the president can either veto or pass it, when a janitor coomes and picks him up, thinking he’s a random piece of paper! I though this was funny since we learned about it, so I figured I could make a pop-culture connection to what we learned in class!

  11. Hi Mrs.D the netbook is getting better. The touch screen is pretty cool espically when you can write with the pen without having to type.

  12. Brandon, I received and checked your quiz. The CYOA directed you to use the class account and because you set up your own I cannot view all of your questions in edit mode and help you make changes. See me tomorrow in homeroom. Please follow directions in the future. Review the Study Guide Packet tonight to prepare for the test tomorrow.

  13. Brandon, Do you have the password to the class account? If yes, once the quiz is complete the website will notify me.

  14. Hi Ms. DiGangi, the screentoaster website has shut down and is not working. Can I pick a different CYOA?

  15. What else are you interested in doing? There are 8 other options and zooburst does take a lot of time. Maybe next time you can try zooburst.

  16. The Zooburst isn’t logging me in. 🙁 I tried both of the passwords you told me to do and it says “incorrect password/username”. So can you check if it still works and tell me the correct password and username. Thank you.

  17. On the zooburst do i sign in as student. I’m pretty sure i do but i just want to make sure

  18. Hi Alycia, The qualifications are on the Congress Chart (House of Reps & Senate) & President Chart. The Supreme Court Justices’ qualifications will be on the Judicial Branch slide.

    Hi Jack,
I will embed it later on the Leadership Post & vodpod widget.

  19. Ms. Digangi, on the study guide when it says Qualifications & Term for Presidency, Senate, House of Reps, and Supreme Court Law under Constitution packet, what does qualifications mean ? Where would I find that ?

  20. Hi Robert,

Please review the Preamble posts for a quiz and watch the videos for The Preamble the Legislative Branch. Also, copy the notes from the Constitution slideshow until you reach the Executive Branch. Enjoy the holiday.

  21. Hi Jack,
Thank you for linking to the website for School House Rock videos. We will watch more when we learn about the Revolutionary War. Did you watch any? If yes, which one did you like best?

  22. Hi Brandon,
Scroll down the right side bar and under “Blogs We Like” click on “8Y Math Blog.” Happy blogging!

  23. I cannot figure out how to post a sticky on this website. I go to click the box, amd the screen is white and the mouse doesn’t turn into the tab. Why? Also how do you get your avatar on the site? I’m alright for everything up to clicking the register button. Where is it? Please Help. I would really like the extra credit.

  24. Hi Sabrina,
Yes, the Lion King is based on Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet. Don’t forget to use the blogging guidelines and check spelling. 🙂

  25. The Lion King is the movie that is baced Shakespear play Hamlet. This event is baced on history because Shakespear made history and the Lion King applauded it.

  26. Hi Jack,
you are correct about Flapjack cartoon. i have to admitt i’ve seen it before. i think your response was very well written not only in detail but in the way you exsplained your comment. well done.

  27. Shoppers worldwide are useing 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags per year. this translates to about a million bags every minute across the globe, or 150 bags a year for every person on earth, and the number is still rising. remember our earth is choking from plastic but you can make the difference. we can learn from new discoveries and prevent them from happening to save the world.

  28. Hi Grant, You are correct about Band of Brothers. It is a true story about the brave men of Easy Company. What type of source is Band of Brothers? Who is your favorite character? My favorite is Major Winters because of his ability to lead despite the obstacles and the loyalty to & compassion for his men. A certain math teacher shares a connection to Major Winters. This math teacher and Winters both went to Franklin & Marshall. Did you guess?
Did you know that some of these extraordinary heroes are still living? For example, Wild Bill Guarnere still lives in South Philadelphia.

  29. Tonight I was watching the HBO series of the Band of Brothers. I think this involves history because it is based on true stories about World War 2. It shows from the Amercan’s point of veiw from start to finsh of the war.

  30. I was watching the show Flapjack on Cartoon network and the way the English lady powders herself when she is dirty relates to what we were talking about in class. We said that Europeans did not shower often (MsD: Europeans during the Middle ages, Renaissance, etc didn’t bathe often because access to heated water was limited and a labor intensive task but some thought bathing too frequently was detrimental to their health) and just use powder. This was talked about during the string time line session on women through time (MsD: So, what else did you learn from this activity, “Women Throughout History.”)
