I plan to use the blog this year for a couple of reasons. First, I plan to use it to review power point notes on what we reviewed/learned that day or week. My second reason is if I were to be absent and missed work, I could go on the blog to see what I missed so I can catch up before I return.
I plan to use the class blog this year when ever I forget homework. I will use it when ever I forgot my homework at school, forgot the papers i need to study, or if I’m absent for school. I will go on the class blog to get all of the information i need.
This year, I will use this blog alot. When I’m absent, I will go on the blog and get my work then. Also if there’s extra credit, I will get it. I will watch the videos from the lesson as well.

I plan to use the blog for numerous reasons throught the eighth grade year. One reason that I will be using it a lot is because I commonly forget papers at school. With the blog, I will just be able to connect to here and find everything that I need, so I won’t have to worry aboutnot turning in homework. Another reason the blog will be very helpful is for absent days. If I am sick one day for school or cannot come for whatever reason, all I need to do is check on here to find out what we learned that day. Without the blog, I would be clueless the next day. I will be using the blog numerous times this year. I will be using it to my advantage, I will go onto the blog whenever i absent and need to catch up.I can also go on when I forget to write down my homework I will go on the blog to make sure that I dont miss any assignments. This will help me stay on track with my classwork and also my homework.

I plan to use the blog in many ways this year. One thing I plan to do is get my homework online when I am out sick. I also plan to use it if I forget my homework at school.
This year already i have used the blog for so many things i needed to catch up on. I use the blog for getting notes, so for the next day if i am absent then i can just go on the blog and get the notes that i missed. The other thing that i love about the blog is that we have a live binder, so just in case i lose a paper or i forgot my folder and i need a paper then i can print out what i need! also i love that i can show my parents what i am leaning in school and i can show what i am doing. I think the blog is a wonderful thing to have this school year!

I plan to look at the blog to find information on things we are learning in class. If I am confused I can just look at the blog and try to understand what I am not understanding. Also I could look at the comments to see if something there could help me out. This is how I plan to use the blog this year.

I feel like this blog is a helpful source to us students. This blog will help me be a more active learner, by letting me put my own opinions and answers toward a certain question. This blog will also help me find work that I may have missed by being absent, or wasn’t able to copy it down that day. I like the fact that there are multiple tabs on the blog to classify each section. This helps me be able to find what I need, and it won’t take me a long time. I feel like this blog has everything that it needs to have on it. I wouldn’t change or add anything, because it has all necessary parts to each lesson that we will learn.
This year I plan on using the blog a lot. I will use it for when I am absent and need to get my work or when I forget what my homework is. Also, I plan on taking advantage of the extra credit points I can earn by posting pop culture connections.

I plan on using this class blog throughout this year. Especially if i forget my homework or my folder. The class blog can let me make extra copies of homework or classwork. Also the class blog is helpful if I go on vacation because while I’m there I can get my work through my mobile devices. I like the fact that we do have a class blog it is really useful. I plan on using the class blog whenever I need to or when I need to found out school work.
The class blog will be very helpful to me this year! I can use it for many things. If i am ever absent i will be able to go online and catch up on my homework or classwork that day. I think the virtual pet should be a koala because they’re so fluffy and love to give people hugs, also they sleep most of the day so we would not have to worry about are koala it would be so EASY to take care of! You don’t get to see koala’s everyday here in New Jersey only at the zoo sence koala’s main habitat is in Austrailia. this is why are class virtual pet should be a Koala! I’m planning to use the class blog a lot. For example, if I forget my homework I can go on here (the blog) and get my homework. Or if I’m sick I can do it while I’m sick and be prepared for class the next day.

I will use the blog for many reasons. If I am absent I will use it to catch up on my work. I will also use it if for any reason I am not in class. Another way I will use the blog is if I forget the homework assignment. If needed, I will use this blog whenever required.
Ther are many ways to use the blog which I will do this year. A few ways is to study, get homework and catch up on absent work. For example, if I am absent I could go to the conch and find out what I missed in class and do it. This is how I plan on using the conch this year.
1. I feel that this blog will be beneficial to me as a student in many ways. First off, whenever I am absent I will have the opportunity to find out what I have missed before I return to school, and this will save me from lots of aggravation and stress. It is also very convenient because it is like having my own personal social studies teacher with me wherever I go since THe CoNCH can be reached on any mobile device as long as I have interest access. If I have a question or concern on a homework paper or assignment I don’t have to wait until school the next day before asking Mrs. D. It is also really cool that we have the blog because it gives students an opportunity for extra credit which is always awesome. However I think it would be nice to see some more games especially if they could help us study because that would be very convenient.
2. The virtual pet that I thought should be adopted was a wolf because this summer I had the amazing opportunity to watch some black wolves feed on buffalo while on vacation in Yellowstone. They were beautiful, majestic creatures who knew how to work together as a team. However if a wolf could talk and was asked to introduce new people to the blog I think it would say, “Hello, and welcome to THe CoNCH which I’ve heard is really awesome, but I wouldn’t know because I’ve never been on the website.”
I think a wolf would say this because they do not have opposable thumbs and sadly could never type on a computer, therefore never being able to visit our blog. This what I think our virtual pet would say if he could speak. (Ms. D note: Thank you for your very detailed response! I think our virtual class pet should be a moose. A moose is strong like our will to succeed in the class and patient, calm and prepared like we should be before tests. The moose reminds me of Canada. Canada is a world civilization with a Constitutional Monarchy and a Parlaimentary Demorcracy which are governments. i think i will be abble to use the class blog for many resaons this year in eigth grade. i will use this blog to find out what i missed when i am absent.i can get the homework off the blog and look at the classwork also. this year will be much easier because of the blog. This year throughout social studies I plan to use the class blog a lot. I think it would be most useful if I’m absent so I can catch up on work missed. Also, if I lose a paper that we are going to need in the future I can access it and print it out. I plan to use the class blog to my advantage. When I am absent I will go on the blog and get my work. When I forgot my notes and have a quiz I will go on the blog to study because all the notes are on here. If I loose any important papers, I will go on the blog and print them out. The blog is a very good thing to have because it is going to be useful to every student through out the entire school year.
I think that he/she should introduce the blog by having the animal that wins the poll as the main character on the blog. The animal could introduce the blog by saying, “This blog is awesome! This helps kids way more than any other resources! We have people go on this blog from all other the world, and if you ask me, it’s a great blog! You can find out your homework , when test/quiz’s are coming, and more!” I think it would be great to introduce the blog from this. 🙂
It might also be fun for a interesting fact to the posted about the animal each week. Then maybe introduce a friend (different animal) and post facts about that animal as well!! 🙂

I plan to use the class blog when I forgot homework or I don’t understand something in class I can always refer to the blog to help me. Also it is an extra help because some of the things that we don’t do in class is on the blog. Another reason I will use the blog is if I am absent I can get my homework right from the blog and I won’t have to make it up the next day.
This year, I plan to use the blog to find missed work. If I accidentally leave my folder in school, I can print out the homework that I don’t have so I can get credit for it. I like this about the blog because if you are disorganized with work, there will be a way to get your work so you don’t get in trouble.

A monkey is betterthan a wolf because a wolf is scary to people because they have the sharp teeth but monkeyon the other hand are harmless and cute.
